Contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
LightSeeds aligns with five key UN Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) by expanding renewable energy production through existing infrastructure; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by supporting sustainable industrial development and local value creation; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through patented, infrastructure-adapted solar technology; SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by integrating clean energy into public and urban environments; and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through lightweight design, reduced material use, and PFAS-free, recyclable components.

MATERIALS USED
LightSeeds uses advanced composite materials and anodised aluminium structures engineered for corrosion resistance and compatibility with demanding roadside environments, while being designed with recyclability in mind, enabling material separation and reprocessing at end of life.
DESIGNED FOR SUSTAINABILITY
LightSeeds is environmentally friendly by design. Our system turns existing infrastructure into clean energy without using additional land, while reducing material use and embodied carbon compared to conventional PV systems. With lightweight components, fast installation and recyclable materials, LightSeeds delivers renewable energy with a lower overall environmental footprint.
